In Crazelpup Life Skills Classes, you learn how to bring out the absolute best in your dog.  Life Skills aren't just about obedience, they are here to prepare you and your dog for what life throws at you!

Classes run in six-week blocks, costing £120 and run on:

Monday 11:30-12:30, Iford Playing Fields

Wednesday 5:00-6:00, Kinson Manor Playing Fields

Thursday 5:00-6:00, Iford Playing Fields

 

The six-week syllabus covers:

• Disengagement

• Freework and Food Preference Testing

• Loose Leading

• Recall

• Cooperative Grooming

• Emergency Stops

• Swapping and Leaving Objects

• Settling

• Boundary Training

...and much more! ​

 

The classes also prepare new and experienced owners for a life of dog ownership- covering behaviour and body language, breed specific facts and a whole array of extra knowledge about grooming, nutrition and canine fitness along the way. 

 

What's more, these classes are fun! Students always have a laugh and get to know each other. Community is at the heart of Crazelpup and these classes strive to support one another and enjoy ourselves.

Q. Are there any weekend classes? 

​

A. Yes, over winter and spring. During Summer and Autumn, I will be competing in agility, hoopers and scentwork competitions over the weekends.

Q. Is this course just for puppies?

​

A. No, dogs of all ages can benefit from Life Skills classes. There are plenty of adolescent, adult and rescue dogs on the courses. 

​

Q. Can my family come along?

​

A. Yes-dog training is a family event, so we encourage you to bring your partners or children along to join in- the more the merrier! I attended dog training classes with my first puppy when I was nine years old became hooked! This is, of course, Covid permitting.
