Well well well

Consistent blog updates didn't really pan out now did they?

In our defence, we've been a tad busy this year!

So, what did you miss?

The Pupdate

9 months late but you know the saying...

From left to right, introducing Haggis, Rhubarb, Hemlock, Rodney and Nettle.

Half Terrier, half Collie and 100% Chaos.

We kept Hemlock and Nettle, after 9 months they are FULL of personality.

Hemlock

The Boy One. Mister Boy. Hemmers. Boy Version. Hemmorino. Mister Naughty.

Hemlock is overwhelming affectionate, if you let your guard down he has a tendency to lierally overwhelm you with a jumping headbutt kiss. He loves the people that he knows and he lets them know.

He's intelligent, completing 3 different school programs. He's athletic, excelling during his introduction to agility classes. He's sensitive, if he is feeling something you will know what that is. He is somewhat nervous, at the time of writing this we are still working through this, when he's in a new environment and there happens to be another dog there he will make sure that everyone within a 3 mile radius is aware of his presence for just a few moments before shaking it off.

He is making progress every single day and I am so proud of him. We've just returned from a two week road trip across France and Germany with Hemlock, Nettle and Rhubarb with no major issues whatsoever.

The bond we are creating is one I have not had the chance to create with an animal before and it is a bond I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Nettle

Nettley Bean. Girl Version. Beany Baby. The Bean One. Nelly Bean. Sweet Bean.

If Hemlock is the smart but naughty school student then Nettle is the University Professor. There is only one other Dog I have witnessed display this level of Intelligene and that is Willow, Nettles Mother.

The entire litter are up for new things and generally adventurous, but again, Nettle has just leapfrogged the rest like some kind of Dog Steve Rogers. She's even a better swimemr than both our adult Collies.

She's also leapfrogged Hemlocks sensitivity though, if anyone has the displeasure of needing to tell Nettle off she will stare into their soul and guilt them into tears.

I asked Jodie to describe Nettle in one sentance.

She responded with an entire song that boiled down to Nettle is sweet, clever, cuddly and her newest soul mate.

They are what you'd expect from half Terrier, half Collie puppies. Naughty in a fun way, smart in a rewarding way and never offer a boring day.

What else?

As if juggling the Bungalows wasn't hard enough, Jodie has also had three of the household Dogs qualify for team GB in Agility/Hoopers!

Primrose - JAO Junior Open Championship Intermediate

Currently we've only had Primrose and the JAO where she and her junior handler Reuben put in a tremendous amount of work to make us all so so proud. Unfortunately there were no medals for Primrose, but Reuben walked away with a Silver medal in teams with his own Dog Vega! His first international competition and also managed a 7th place overal in the individual round.

2026 is proving to be such a fun year so far. It's not the first time I've said this, but expect more frequent blog posts. We have even more exciting news coming very soon...
